Collaboration, Access, Research, and Education

Our Mission:

To improve and support the health and well-being of gender diverse individuals across New England and beyond. We will achieve this by promoting provider collaboration, strengthening advocacy and policy, increasing training opportunities across the spectrum of care, standardizing care, and building and supporting sustainable and ethical research.

Our Vision:

A world where gender diverse individuals can live life to its fullest potential.

Our Goals Are To:

1. Improve and expand referral networks throughout New England.
2. Facilitate and increase access to gender affirming care.
3. Develop standards for providing quality gender-affirming healthcare across New England
4. Advocate for improved insurance coverage of medically necessary trans-related services.
5. Promote government policy that protects the well-being and needs of gender diverse individuals in our communities
6. Increase opportunities for education of all types of healthcare providers.
7. Grow the number of skilled gender affirming providers across the New England region.
8. Build a multi-site research cohort and research infrastructure to improve our understanding of health and healthcare needs within the gender diverse community and to develop evidence-based recommendations and improvements in care.
9. Support and foster the healthcare and research pipeline to increase the recruitment and retention of gender diverse individuals in healthcare, education, and research.
